Visit our Fasig and Keath colonial homes (30-32 East High Street) and the Harry Shearer Heritage Center (88 South Grant Street) on December 2 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and December 3, from 12:30 – 4:30 PM to see some symbols of colonial German-American traditions. We will have free tours at all three facilities, plus, hot mulled cider, and photos with Belsnickel (bring your own camera or cellphone) at the log homes.  There will also be a book signing by Mike Gerhard, local author of the book “Gentle Giant, a Story of Jack Fasig”.  He will have copies available to purchase. At the Heritage Center, you can see tall case clocks made in Manheim in the 18th century, Civil War-era rifles, artifacts from the Danner Home collection, and redware and wood-carved ornaments made by local artisans.

At the railroad station (210 South Charlotte Street) our Stiegel Valley Model Railroad will be running, and we will be selling fresh roasted peanuts!

We are participating in the “Christmas in Manheim” weekend and the Manheim Women’s Club Tour of Homes on Sunday.
