Exhibit Opening: Henry W. Stiegel – Ironmaster & Glassmaker


The Manheim Historical Society invites you to the

Exhibit Opening for “Henry W. Stiegel – Ironmaster & Glassmaker”

Explore the roots of Manheim history and help us celebrate our new acquisitions, including several significant pieces of glass, iron objects, and documents related to Stiegel’s role as an industrial pioneer and Manheim’s founder.
When:     Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Where:   The Manheim Railroad Station, 210 S. Charlotte St., Manheim, PA

Presentations by:   Jeff Dreisbach, local historian and collector

                                      Jeremy Friedly, glass artisan, Stiegel Glassworks 1976

2:00 – 3:00PM each day, followed by a question & answer opportunity with the presenters.

Also, tour the Railroad Station, Model Railroad, 1917 Train Cabin Car, 1926 Trolley Car and Stiegel Glassworks. 

~~Admission is free, though donations are appreciated! The “Gift Shop” will be open.~~

Please note: face masks are required for entry to all Historical Society properties at this time, per CDC guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and patience.
